Praise God the ministry is nearly debt free! Watch and pray as things are changing. A take the city outpouring is begining to take place in Fernandina Beach, on Amelia island. The next meetings are scheduled for 08-27-08 through 08-29-08 7:30pm nightly with Evangelist David Piper. Salvations, Miracles and Healings. During the month of June 2008, in prayer, the Lord Jesus began speaking to us about retiring the debt of The River Church and operating it as a debt free ministry by September 1, 2008. Well needless to say we did not know how He would do this, having never been debt free in the ministry or in our personal life for that matter (We have a mortgage). Then the Lord brought us to a scripture; Isaiah 42:16, "I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them." (KJV) Okay, so now we know the Lord is taking us in a way that is foreign to us. Next we began speaking those things which be not as though they were. Yesterday we began telling people, christian and secular, that the Lord is retiring the debt of our church by September 1, and within 18 hours just over $6000.00 was retired, done away with, finished. Thank you Jesus! In addition to this a friend of ours has promised another $20,000.00, through the sale of his property, to help retire the debt. Thank you Jesus, for the sale of his property! Here at The River, July and August are 2 months of prayer and fasting as we receive the promises of the Word into our lives. Pray and fast along with us as a sign of touching agreement (Matthew 18:19) during this debt free harvest. A CALL FOR SEED
Because of the sudden events mentioned earlier, we are seeing the retiring of debt as a field of very fertile soil. We have called upon all of our members to sow their personal debt free seed into this field. The more seed sown, the greater the harvest. The harvest here is retired debt for churches, ministries, and individuals. We are also calling for your debt free seed! Sure we could keep this to our selves, but that would be selfish and unkind. Send us your debt free seed and we will sow it into this field. Remember, a seed is as small as it will ever be and can not produce until sown. No seed is too small. Jesus watches over the offering in Mark 12:42-44 and declares that the widow's two mites were the greatest offering because she gave of her want, not her abundance. Want to be debt free?
